In the 1990s, the female R&B trio TLC won four Grammy awards and were regulars on the Billboard charts thanks to hits like “No Scrubs” and “Waterfalls.” But, after the tragic death of Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes in 2002, the two remaining members, Tionne ‘T-Boz’ Watkins and Rozonda ‘Chilli’ Thomas, put their singing careers on hold. Now, seven years later, the ladies are reuniting to play a benefit concert hosted by Justin Timberlake. The show, which will also feature performances by Taylor Swift and Alicia Keys, will take place in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Events Center on October 17. Proceeds will go to help the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Tickets go on sale on August 29

After a nasty feud, Tyrese Gibson and his wife, Norma, have ended their 10-month marriage. The singer/actor, who filed for divorce last January, was ordered to give his ex $65,000. The former couple will share custody of their 2-year-old daughter, Shayla, despite Norma’s claim that the star is a poor father.

Jadakiss’ Spot Raided: One-Time Finds All Kinds of Drugs and Money

Jadakiss nearly received the “Kiss of Death” last Friday as he found himself in the middle of a scintillating drug bust. In a case that would have members of the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Hip-Hop Cops positively salivating, New York authorities raided an apartment in Yonkers leased to Jada, seizing more than six and a half founds of cannabis, five grams of heroin, and about $40,000 in cash.
This finding comes after local authorities were granted a search warrant to survey the premises, do in part of two bumbling men that were arrested close to the crime scene. 25 - year old Alberto Lajara and his passenger, Gabriel Henriquez, basically flagged down the boys in blue as they were parked on the sidewalk and the smell of marijuana was coming from their car and a bag of weed was found on the console according to The Journal News.
After further questioning and a small chase, the suspects were apprehended and it was found out that that Henriquez had a room inside the apartment although it seems highly unlikely that Jadakiss used the apartment as his primary residence.
Both men are facing criminal actions in response to the act they allegedly committed with Lajara being brought up on fifth degree criminal possession of marijuana and disorderly conduct charges and Henriquez staring down felonious second-degree criminal possession of marijuana and second-degree assault as well as second-degree obstructing governmental administration.

Juelz Santana Arrested for “Threatening To Kill His Wife”

Member of the Diplomats and Leader of the Skull Gang, rapper Juelz Santana was arrested today for domestic abuse. According to reports, Santana allegedly threatened to kill his wife.
Reports show that a 911 call was placed by his wife early this morning during an altercation between the two in their home in Teaneck, New Jersey. Whatever was said in the phone call clearly did the trick as the rapper was arrested on domestic battery charges, although she was not in need of any attention. Along with stating that her husband threatened to kill her, she added that all of this was done in front of a child. There has been no report if the altercation was physical or verbal.
Despite reports, his publicist Lynn Hobson said that Juelz is not married and the fight in question was with a neighbor in their parking lot. He is currently free and HipHopWired will keep you updated as the story develops.
This will not serve as the first run-in for Santana, legally known as Laron Louis James, as he was arrested outside of his home back in March 2008. He was initially pulled over for driving with a suspended license, but further investigation discovered that his Bentley contained a bag of weed, 29 bullets and cash amounting to $20,5000 placed inside a plastic bag.

Santana has been in the process of getting together his third solo album Born to Lose, Built to Win through his 50/50 deal with Def Jam Records and was rumored to be crafting up a mixtape entitled, The Reagan Era. As far as his Skull Gang group, it has been reported that they are currently coming up with a sequel and should be releasing The Takeover 2 sometime in the upcoming future.

*Breaking News*: Chris Brown Was Just Sentenced to 5 Years Probation and Then Some…

Chris Brown sentencing date was moved up to today. The judge was not playing with him at all and did NOT cut him any slack….
Judge Patricia Schnegg : “I am not the one to ever believe in any hear say or anything else but I am not immune from chatter on the airwaves. Any set violation of the protective order is a violation of your probation.
Chris Brown has to adhere to the following terms:
1. Felony Probation for 60 months and must obey all laws.2. Report to Probation within 72 hours3. 52 Weeks of a Domestic Violence Program in Virginia. 4. Must turn in all weapons within the next 24 hours and can NOT own any weapons during that period.5. Must Provide DNA Samples as Requested by the Authorities6. 180 Days of Community Service (HARD) Labor… washing cars, cleaning graffiti off the walls, etc.7. Get approval before leaving the country.8. Report to a court room every 3 months for the next 5 years.9. Fines and Fees: $2,500 in restitution, $2,500 in probation expenses, $30 for criminal conviction fee and $400 for the domestic violence fund.
Last But Not Least…
10. The Protective Order for the next 5 years: Brown is not allowed to harass, assault, threaten, molest, etc. Rihanna. No direct contact nor 3rd party contact with her. He must stay at least 100 yards away from her unless it is an entertainment (work) related event, then he must stay 10 yards away.
If Chris Brown violates any of thee above, the judge is going to put him in jail without thinking twice. Judge Patricia Schnegg told Chris during the sentencing:
“I am not the one to ever believe in any hear say or anything else but I am not immune from chatter on the airwaves. Any set violation of the protective order is a violation of your probation… Even though you have probation, remember this is a felony and it does come with potential of state prison if you should violate in any way the terms and condition of this probation or pick up any new case. Do you understand, I just want to myself perfectly clear.”

Seems like Sasha Fierce isn’t finished promoting her album. Just after the release of “Sweet Dreams” for the summer, and wrapping up the U.S. leg of her world tour, Beyonce is already making moves to release a new single.
It seems as though “Video Phone,” produced by Atlanta native Bangladesh and co-written by Sean Garrett is slated to impact radio on September 22nd.
Not only that, but Bey will also release the platinum edition of her third studio album, I Am… Sasha Fierce on her 28th birthday, September 4th.
The platinum edition will contain bonus tracks, as well as all the videos release during the promotion of this album. This lady really doesn’t know how to stop working! She will also release the DVD of her tour later this year

Dreamgirl Jennifer Hudson just met her little dream boy. Tragedy took a back seat as the Oscar winner and fiancé David Otunga welcomed David Daniel Otunga Jr. late Monday, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The tot weighed in at 7 pounds, 14 ounces.

The 27-year-old former American Idol contestant never officially announced her pregnancy, although speculation began when she wore increasingly loose-fitting tops. In early June, her longtime friend, Felicia Fields, admitted to having attended Hudson's gender-neutral baby shower in their hometown of Chicago.
