Fans of the “Dogg Father” will be pleasantly surprised when they visit store shelves very soon as the new guardians of Death Row Records have raided its illustrious musical collection to bring the people a true gem, classic music from none other than Snoop Dogg.
Called The Lost Sessions, Vol.1, the compilation is sure to spark instances of nostalgia as the West Coast don's classic flow can be felt over unreleased tracks such as “The Genie” and “Eat A Dick,” a track that also features long time collaborator and fellow musical titan Dr. Dre. The album is due to his stores on October 13th. The album follows a re-release of Dr. Dre's legendary album, the Chronic, entitled Chronic: Re-Lit.
In other Snoop Dogg news, the “Boss Dogg” is slated to release his highly anticipated 10th album, Malice In Wonderland. No date has been specified as of yet, but it is still scheduled for a 2009 release. Snoop has also been tapped to be the Creative Chairman of Priority Records.
